Registration Process OverviewSo you want to join the International Service Team? Here's how to apply, and the timescales so you know what to expect and when. There are 500 places available for IST. Applicants should apply online, at www.scouts.org.uk/ist2011 from 10am on Monday 19th October. Applications will be processed as we receive them and we will invite people to the selection events on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability. The details required in the application form are given below. Therefore, if you are concerned about missing out on a place because you cannot be near a computer when applications open, you will be able to arrange for somebody else to apply on your behalf, by giving them these details. They will have to accept the terms and conditions of application (The Name of the Game) on your behalf. When and where are the selection events? - 23rd Jan 2010 - Moor House, Durham

What information will I have to give to register?The Name of the Game is the set of terms and conditions you will have to agree to this during the registration process. The details you will be asked to complete on the online-registration are: - Forename*

- Scout/Guide?*
- Role in Scouting/Guiding*
- Scout District/Guide Division
- Scout County/Area/Region or Guide County*
- Membership Number (if over 18)
- Selection Event Location Choice 1*
- Selection Event Location Choice 2*
- A non-binding indication of which travel option you are likely to choose (See Money Matters - Costs and Options)
