Home to some of the most stunning scenery in Scotland, Inverness District is located in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland.  Within the District are Loch Ness (home of the Loch Ness monster), Cairngorm National Park for winter Skiing and outdoor activities through out the year, and numerous castles to visit.

City of InvernessThe District is not just the City of Inverness.  Nairn to the East is near the relaxing rural environment of Brodie Castle, and also home to Dolphin Cruises in the Moray Firth.  West of Nairn, is the must see Fort George, with stunning views of the Inner Moray Firth.

To the south is Aviemore, located within the Cairngorm National Park, is home to a variety of outdoor activities and water activities at Loch Morlich, less than 10km from Aviemore. 

Inverness is no longer the remote place it once was, with excellent road, rail and air links from the rest of the UK.  There are daily flights to Inverness Airport from London Gatwick and London Luton, as well as regular rail services from Aberdeen, Glasgow Edinburgh and London.
