ADC (Adult Training) - Stephen Maddison
There are many different roles for
adults in Scouting. For those aged 18-25 there is
still a youth programme that can be followed, instead
of, or in addition to having an adult role in Scouting.
There are also roles for adults to be Leaders,
Administrators, Managers, Activities/Skills and
Occasional Helpers. No matter how much or how
little time you may have to spare, there is a job you
can do in Scouting, to help make Scouting in Inverness
District even greater.
Fellowship Chairman - Geoff Thomson
Essentially Fellowships are a group
of adults who wish in some way to provide 'active
support' to local Scouting. Fellowships can be made up
of men and women of all ages, interests and backgrounds,
whether or not they have been involved with Scouting or
Guiding before. They can operate at local, national and
international levels, but are most often connected to a
District or County. All members of Scout Fellowship are
there because they wish to give some of their time to
Scouting - this can be as much or as little as they
like, in a wide variety of activities. Each Fellowship
also has their own social and activity programme.
